How can we show that the electric G-Class is in no way inferior to the OG? Exactly. We let the old ones test the youngling on its heart and soul.
Because: only a G-Class can judge a G-Class.
The electric G-Class embarks on a journey through time to meet its ancestors from the past. Together they go on action-packed journeys to find out what makes a true G. Three decades, three countries and three extreme testing conditions.
The electric G-Class: approved by the G-Class.
— Episode 1
The electric G-Class tackles its legendary birthplace on the Schöckl's rugged terrain together with the G 280 GE from the 1980s. This adventure pays tribute to the heart-pounding action of the 80s – inspired by icons like the A-Team and MacGyver.
— Episode 2
Approved by its elder: the G 300 GE tests its youngling, the electric G-Class prototype. The second episode is an homage to the wildlife docs we grew up with, where every shot is a story and every moment a testament to the enduring allure of our planet – and the animals (or vehicles) that roam it.
In the final episode of our series the electric G-Class ventures into the frosty plains of northern Sweden at the polar circle. This episode is a tribute to the early 2000s computer games, internet culture, and a digital frontier vibe that will transport you back in time.
